Mieko, SBIS, Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Mieko-An Khamsin was whelped May 21, 1996 and died in March, 2006. Mieko was owned by Susan and John Konopa and was our way of saying Thank You to Susie for allowing us to lease Ch. Sedeki-Mazuri An.
Mieko was a multiple specialty winner, a true character, and turned heads wherever she sent. Susie provided a wonderful home for Mieko and in turn bred her to produce two exceptional sons.
Mieko was responsible for long discussions about the use of the term "ethereal" to describe a Saluki.
