Lucky was Multiple BIS, Multiple SBIS, Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Luck Be An Lady She was born July 3, 1993 and died in July, 2004. She was from a litter of seven which included Lyric (SBIS, Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Lyric ABD Shalom).

Lucky had our hearts. She was a once-in-a-lifetime Saluki. She had done everything we had ever dreamed of for a Saluki. She was a show dog, a companion, a brood bitch. She was our Lucky Lady. She was wonderful to travel with. She was all Saluki - a snob, a princess, a real clown and the ultimate pillow thief.

Lucky's first litter was sired by Noah (Can. Am. Aust. Ch. Windstorm No Regrets). This litter produced two Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show winners. The 'O' litter, was Charm (BIS, SBIS, Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm One Lucky Lady), Wuzzle (BIS, SBIS, Can. S. African Ch. Windstorm Over the Rainbow to Roaringwater), Ouija (Can. Ch. Windstorm Shwana Ouija Luck) and Joy, (Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Sarea Lucky Outlook).

Lucky's second litter was sired by Rhett (Am Ch. Snowynde Frankly My Dear). The Windstorm P litter produced Pasha (Can.Am. Ch. Windstorm Pasha Luck), Passion (Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Lucky Premonition) and Penny (Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Plenty of Luck) as well as Piper (Am. Ch. Windstorm Piper of Luck), who was AOM at the Saluki Club of America's National Specialty Show in June, 2003, and Persia (Can. Am. Ch. Windstorm Sarea Persian Luck). We are fortunate that so many of Lucky's 'P' litter are owned by people who love them and show them to their potential.

Lucky's show ring achievements included: Top Hound - Canada; Top Saluki - Canada (four years in a row); #7 Dog - All Breeds in Canada; 18 All Breed Best in Shows; multiple Group Winners; multiple Group Placements; two Best Puppy In Groups; multiple Breed Wins; SBIS - Huron Valley Saluki Club; BISS - Saluki Club of America (SCOA) Eastern Regional Specialty (1998); Winners Bitch - American Saluki Association (ASA) Medallion Support, Michigan (1996); Winners Bitch, San Angeles Saluki Club Specialty (1996); Winners Bitch - Supported Entry, Empire Saluki Club (1994); Best In Sweeps - SCOA National 9 to 12 month class (1994); Best Puppy In Specialty - Saluki Club Of Canada (SCOC) National (1994); Best Puppy in Show - Ontario Sighthound Association (OSA) Specialty Show (1994). For her retirement party Lucky finished her show ring career by going Best In Show at the Ontario Sighthound Association Specialty Show, June 2002.
