ROCKWOOD, ON, July 20 – Angelstone Farms is pleased to offer the first of what we hope becomes a series of one-day shows in Canada. Over the past few years a major concern with fellow competitors is the cost of developing young horses. In an effort to create a solution to this problem here in Canada, Angelstone Farms has decided to run with an idea, in the hope of it growing and being something the Canadian Equestrian community can benefit from in the future.
Angelstone’s first trial run of this show concept will take place on Tuesday, August 25. A Tuesday was chosen so that it does not conflict with shows in the area that competitors have already committed to attending.
Angelstone will run four classes throughout the day, and entry fees will be $20 per Round. There will be no other fees. Competitors and their horses will have the option of completing up to three Rounds per Class with the first being scored.
In the future, we hope to create a series of six to eight shows throughout the summer at different farms in the area.
Angelstone Farms has recently opened a new facility in Rockwood, Ontario. We believe we can offer a product that can rival any show in Ontario with regards to footing, jumps and affordability. In order for this series to prosper, Angelstone Farms is seeking the support of all the local stables.
The final class of the day will be the $2500.00 Angelstone Farms 1.30m Mini-Prix. Entry fees will still be $20.00 for this class with no other fees.
Drinks will be complimentary throughout the day, and there will be a BBQ at the end of the day for the show’s attendees.

*Warm-up on grass, show ring is 150 x 220 all weather footing by Karen Leeming
*Liability waiver to be signed by all participants
*30 minutes between each class to properly prepare footing
